We investigate how robots detect CMS on websites, which is an essential preliminary to study how to hack a site.
They consult most license/notes files which are basics txt files present in your website files, revealing your CMS and version to the general public, and these are of no interest to be accessible from the net.
Accordingly, we have now blocked the access of these identified files, and if you see others possible, tell us :

Some robots read also the headers/footers/pages code source of the sites, and in this we have no solutions at server level... To be continued
Since 09/01/2016, 7 and PHP 7.1 are now considered stable and can provide an additional gain with opcache which is enabled by default, test and see the speed, but especially, check if one of your modules / plugins are not compatible with PHP 7 ....)

For PHP 7 and 7.1, tick well PHP extension : mysqli and opcache if not the case, it works on most sites after...
