If you want to drop Paypal in favor of Stripe with automatic payments, simply disable any existing automatic Paypal subscription from your Paypal account, and you will have to make a manual payment by going to your client area, section unpaid invoices, once on invoice page, change payment method for Stripe, then click "Pay now", follow the instructions on the screen. (Do not tick at bottom : "Tick this box if you do not want Stripe Payments Europe Ltd to store your credit card details")
